Thriller starring Matthew Broderick, Ally Sheedy

David Lightman is a bright student, good at video games and an extraordinarily talented computer-hacker. When he "breaks into" a system hundreds of miles away and is challenged to play "Global Thermonucleur Warfare", David thinks he's found a brand new game. Meanwhile at the Combined Operations Centre in Cheyenne, the Third World War has begun.

This suspense adventure comes from John Badham, the director of Blue Thunder, and stars Matthew Broderick, recently in The Freshman, and Ally Sheedy of The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit.
