York's Knitting Factory club, the festival boasts performances from the most renowned players in contemporary jazz, such as Henry Threadgill , Cecil Taylor , McCoy Tyner , Joe Henderson and Steve Coleman. Co-hosted in New York by one of the festival's American performers, this programme samples a selection of the music on offer.
