Wings Over the World

on BBC One London

Paul McCartney and Wings
From the earliest recording session of WINGS, the band is followed through its last major world tour. Problems created by fans, security and setting up for each gig are contrasted with a spectacle of the large American and Australian concerts, and the solitude of Paul and Linda's family life on the Mull of Kintyre.
Among the dozen or so songs are Band on the Run ', 'Jet', 'Live and Let Die ' and a moving solo performance of ' Yesterday '.
