Harry

on BBC One London

Michael Elphick's Darlington newsman has some old wounds exposed when he looks into the death of a well-respected policeman in tonight's episode of this new drama series.
Nothing more than a conventional Sunday-paper tribute would seem to be called for, as far as Harry's news agency is concerned. But a visit to ex-reporter Dan Finch raises theghostofa a 15-year-old murder trial with Masonic entanglements.
Also involved is Harry's friend Nick, then a young detective constable. "You're going to hang my career out to dry," he rages, "because of a broken-down corrupt ex-copper and a personal crusade against Masonry?"
A Union Pictures production for BBC TV.
