Oramo conducts the first performances of two works by John Foulds , who died in 1939. Mirage is a musical evocation of man's metaphysical aspirations, while Lyra Celtica makes use of quarter-tone scales in a wordless concerto for voice and orchestra, inspired by Indian classical music.
