Saturday Night at the Movies: Frankie and Johnny

on BBC One London

starring Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley stars as Johnny, a Mississippi riverboat entertainer who is in love with his partner Frankie. But Johnny is a compulsive gambler whose losing streak changes dramatically when Lady Luck smiles on him in the attractive shape of Nelly Bly. Loosely built around the classic folk song, Frankie and Johnny has Elvis performing a dozen numbers, including the title song.
