Gwen had another quarrel with her employer Richard Fulton , because he wanted her to work on both Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Alec Dale came to the Dales and asked if he could spend Christmas with them. He revealed that Maud French had sold the rights of her book for a large sum of money to a film company.
