The great Spanish tenor Jose Carreras pays his own special homage to the wonderful artistry of his illustrious predecessor.
He sings songs and arias including "Vesti la giubba" and "Because" from The
Great Caruso, "Beloved" and "Serenade" from The Student Prince and "Granada" and "Be My Love" from The Toast of New Orleans.
With the BBC Concert Orchestra, led by Martin Loveday, and Chorus, conducted by Enrique Ricci.
Presented by Chris Stuart.
