All Our Children

on BBC One London

A window on the world of childhood in 12 parts, narrated by Judi Dench. 3: Christina, Richie,
Parameshwar, Biddy and Eliza's thoughts of home. It's a basic human need to belong, to have roots. But many of the world's children have no permanent home. An orphan in Brazil, a child of divorce in the United States, a migrant from countryside to big city in India, a traveller child in Ireland, a refugee in Zambia - each of these children has a different idea of where home is, or was, or should be. How do children cope with life on the move?
What kind of help do they need to find a true sense of belonging?
