MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Produced by Betty Davies
Mrs. Dale writes:
Mother was so pleased to be home again and to see that Captain was all right. Maud offered to take her to Italy for convalescence, but Mother has elected to go away with Louie Harrison instead. A dreadful situation has arisen between Mr. Bonner and Isobel because he asked her to resign ,as Mayoress; Isobel was furious, and even Mother told him he had made a mistake. Mrs. Maggs discovered Mrs. O'Doherty was in the house, and took umbrage. Sally and Richard were due to leave on May 5, but Sally surprised us all by deciding that she just couldn't go and live in America at all.
