John Devonald has been appointed adjudicator at the Port Talbot National Eisteddfod this year. He will also be one of the artists at the Welsh concert and the Penillion singer at the Gorsedd proceedings.

Rhiannon James won the Ada Lewis Scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in 1926, where she studied for four years. She has won several prizes at the Royal National Eisteddfod.

R. Meirion Morris has lived for some years in Denbighshire at the foot of the Berwyn mountains, the beauties of which he will describe in one of his songs this evening.
