on BBC One London

starring George C. Scott
Michael Sarrazin , Sue Lyon
When Curley Treadaway , a young Southern soldier on the run from the military police, meets up by accident with Mordecai Jones , his life is drastically altered. For Jones, on the surface a benign, ageing travelling salesman, is none other than 'the Flim-Flam Man', a notorious confidence trickster. Together they swindle their way through a set of crazy adventures in which they steal a car, wreck a whole town, hi-jack a lorry-load of moonshine whisky and somehow manage to keep one step ahead of the law ...
