In the first of two programmes, Felicity Finch, who plays Ruth Archer in The Archers, visits a studio in Pakistan where a soap opera depicting life in Afghanistan is made. It's action-packed, with rocket attacks, epidemics, earthquakes and murderous blood feuds - not all that unlike Ambridge!
