On trial for murder,
Larry Ballentine is given the opportunity to explain his own story. It all begins on the day of his fifth wedding anniversary, when his attentions are directed less towards his wealthy wife Gretta than one of her close friends, Janice. But his plans for separation run less smoothly - m fact through a tale of torment, unforeseen accidents and love for yet another woman.
