The vocal group Anonymous 4 make their Proms debut with a sequence of 14th-century love songs by Francesco Landini illuminated by readings from Dante's Il Vita Nuova. Passionate devotion wrestles with bitter disillusion as the young poet struggles with his ardent longing for the beautiful Beatrice.
