Multi-Racial Britain

on BBC One London

The seventh of ten programmes about practical ways of improving race relations. Black and Blue
Young blacks commonly expect unfair treatment in dealings with the police. Now some police are making special efforts to regain their confidence. Made in Leeds, Birmingham and London this film shows ways they are attempting to break down stereotypes held by the West Indian community - and also to ensure that stereotypes are not built up in the minds of policemen themselves.
