Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Basil Dawson
Jenny decided to find some evening work to help pay her expenses and arrived in London unexpectedly. She stayed the weekend at Virginia Lodge and later told Bob that she had found work as a baby-sitter. Bruce Laurie told Dr. Dale he had found a practice in the country and that he was going to let his house to Dr. Gardiner, who would sub-let one floor of the house. Gwen was determined to ask him for the ground floor flat since she continued to find life difficult in an upstairs flat with Billy now crawling around, and Edward Fielding complaining of the noise he made. Sally could not decide on a name for her shop. Mrs. Morgan noticed Tiggy scuffing along the road, untidy and obviously very unhappy.
