The ladies' quarter-finals should be getting under way today, and the players who reached last year's semi-finals - the Williams sisters, Justine Henin (now
Henin-Hardenne) and Amelie Mauresmo -would expect still to be in contention. Of the four, Henin undoubtedly had the toughest match in 2002 as she eventually came through against Monica Seles in a ding-dong battle that ended 7-5, 7-6.
