This regular Friday meeting of poets (whose work recently featured in A Group Anthology) was initiated at Cambridge in the early 1950s by Philip Hobsbaum and has now taken place in London for about eight years, first in Stockwell and then in Chelsea-from where tonight's programme will be broadcast. The poems to be read, some of which are printed in the current issue of The Listener (dated August 22), will be discussed one at a time by the poets at the meeting.
