The Call of Kakadu

on BBC One London

The size of Wales and situated in northern Australia, Kakadu National Park is a wilderness brimming with wildlife, including magpie geese, cockatoos and blue-winged kookaburras. This film, the culmination of seven years' work by British zoologist David Curl, follows the fortunes of a pair of kookaburras nesting by a billabong.
