Sarah Walker presents profiles of composers Rebecca Saunders and Richard Ayres.
Musikfabrik perform Saunders's Quartet and are joined by conductor Richard Baker and trumpeter Marco Blaauw for Ayres's No 31 (NONcerto for trumpet); and the Asko Ensemble and the Exaudi Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Roland Kluttig , perform Ayres's No 33 (Valentine Tragashian Considers ... ) and No 36 (NONcerto for horn).
