Panorama: The Kennedy Challenge

on BBC One London

President John F. Kennedy said 'My father always knew that if anything happened to me, Bobby would run and if anything happened to him, Teddy would run.'

It now seems certain that Senator Teddy Kennedy has decided to pick up the fallen mantle of his two murdered brothers and seek the American Presidency. In a special film report Michael Cockerell investigates Senator Kennedy's style and political record, including the controversial Chappaquidick incident. How successful will be the Kennedy challenge against President Jimmy Carter and his top White House advisers - the so-called 'Georgia Mafia'?
