Now nearly 80 years old, the trio's pianist, Menahem Pressler , recalls some of his early musical idols - his "spiritual teacher" Busoni, and Cortot and Casals among others - and introduces one of the most sublime and noble works of the repertoire, Beethoven's Archduke trio.
