In Europe and America there are stocks of unused food. while in many poor countries of the ' South ' some people starve. The world as a whole now produces enough to feed its entire population yet it often proves difficult to distribute food to those who need it most. Should the ' North ' sell more food to the ' South '? Or give more? And how far can the poorer countries of the ' South ' solve their own food problems?
