Goldschmidt tried to make a new life for himself as an exile in Britain and had to rebuild hiscareerfrom scratch. He frequently worked with fellow-emigrees, and a collaboration with Kurt Jooss resulted in the anti-fascist ballet Chronica. Donald Macleod introduces a performance of a suite from that ballet, Goldschmidt's clarinet concerto and another politically inspired work, his Greek Suite.
