When individual and family problems extend across frontiers, International Social Service provides the vital link. Its work is carried out irrespective of creed, nationality, or politics. The problem of broken homes, unwanted children, illness, unemployment, and despair are common in every country, and they are aggravated by barriers of nationality, language, and distance. International Social Service works through branches in many countries, and an increasing number of problems are dealt with here in Great Britain every year.
