Songs of Praise

on BBC One London

Since the 18th Century, the Rock of Gibraltar has been a major base for British Forces in the Mediterranean. Pam
Rhodes visits the British garrison where members of all the armed forces are stationed. She meets
Sarah Bell , a young RAF officer, and talks to naval surgeon
Robin McNeill Love and his wife Poppy at HMS Rooke. She also hears about the Forces healthy eating campaign from
Marjorie Dunn. The members of the garrison are accompanied by the Band of the Royal Green Jackets as they meet to sing their songs of praise in the eastern hangar at RAF Gibraltar.
Lord, Enthroned in Heavenly Splendour;
Christ the Lord Is Risen Today: Eternal Father, Strong to Save; He Who Would Valiant Be;
Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory; Be Thou My Vision; Living Lord; Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken.
