The final day's events from the opening international of the season features the 5,000m, the 800m and the pole vault. The East Germans will, as usual, provide a very strong team all of whom will be seeking a place in the European Championships in August. Great Britain will be hard pressed to win the team match, but will look forward to some notable individual successes.
