Jim'II Fix It

on BBC One London

After 20 years of making dreams come true for people, Jimmy Savile has announced he is quitting Jim 'II Fix It. "There is no logic to what I am doing," he has said. "We have enough ideas for an entire new series ... and the ratings are rock solid. But I work by instinct and I just feel that the time is right. I made the same decision after 20 years on Top of the Pops."
So this is the first of what will be the very last series. Among the highlights are two sisters who want to present their own holiday programme, a 10-year-old who races across London on his bike but under ground, a frustrated tap dancer and a boy with a slimy wish to fulfil.
But Jimmy Savile won't be disappearing from our screens for good when this series ends. He is currently working on the format for a new show.
