A dramatised reconstruction of three famous Scottish murder cases asks - did the jury make the right decision - was 'murder not proven.'

August 1893. Alfred John Monson has leased Ardlamont House in Argyllshire for the summer and 20-year-old Cecil Hambrough is looking forward to the shooting season. However Cecil's life is insured by Monson for a huge sum.
