The jazz world lost the undisputed king of the Hammond organ, Jimmy Smith , a few weeks ago.
Julian Joseph revisits a conversation he had with him in December 2000, during which he talks about his hero Wild Bill Davis. This programme also features Smith's last commercial recording, in which he duets with Hammond companion Joey De Francesco.
