Live from London's Hyde Park and including link-ups with Glasgow, Manchester, Swansea and Belfast, an evening of popular classics from the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Royal Choral Society conducted by Carl Davis, with tenor Andrea Bocelli, violinist and BBC Young Musician of the Year Nicola Benedetti, pop-opera quartet G4 and Simply Red. Terry Wogan hosts the tenth annual event.

And at around 9.45 the grand finale from the Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, with Paul Daniel conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

The Last Night of the Proms is also broadcast on Radio 3 at 7.30pm and televised on BBC2 at 7.30pm (part 1) and on BBC1 at 9.15pm (part 2)
