A foreign radio valve is found near the Anchorite's Cave. That night in the November dark, the atom chasers ' are astonished to find that someone appears to be signalling from the cave to a passing aircraft. They catch sight of a shadowy figure at the entrance, but at the critical moment Constable Grant arrives on the scene.
