The Holy Experiment by WILLIAM FOX , with Richard Pasco as William Penn the founder of Pennsylvania in 1681. He was a Quaker but also a courtier and his determination for a better deal for members of his sect secured a grant of land in the New World from Charles II. He remains one of the greatest figures of American history: his Treaty with the Indians, the most successful treatment of aborigines that history records, lasted for 70 years; his Frame of Government for Pennsylvania became the basis for the Constitution of the United States in 1776.
