Mr. Julian Huxley (Honorary lecturer in Zoology and Animal Biology in the University of London)

Changes in fashions and materials and the striking spread of cheaper and better clothes are all dictated by the discoveries of the research scientist. Mr. Huxley will demonstrate the vast network of specialised work that lies behind the constant changes in the gaily-decorated windows of the clothing trade. He will discuss and illustrate the workings of the linen, wool, artificial silk, cotton, and leather industries.
