on Regional Programme Wales

'The Bright Side of the Picture'
A series of talks for
Discussion Groups arranged by Brinley Thomas
These talks deal with the changes that have affected the social, cultural, and industrial life of South Wales during the past twenty years.
This evening's- talk will deal with some of the advantages that follow up"n migration from South Wales to England. Many of the migrants, particularly the young ones, find it difficult to settle down, but they have the satisfaction of knowing that it is better to find work in England than to waste their youth in enforced idleness in their home towns. Many
Welsh farmers are also settling in England and are finding the change for the better.
