Blue Peter Flies the World

on BBC One London

Sri Lanka with Simon Groom , Peter Duncan and Janet Ellis
Deep in the Jungle.... and Up the Pole!
In 1900 there were 20,000 elephants in Sri Lanka: today there are scarcely 2,000. Simon reports from the jungle, where an Elephant Orphanage cares for lost or abandoned calves, while Peter joins the stilt fishers of Weligama, up the pole on the trail of the timid Korrumba fish!
