Christopher Marshall introduces the Andante and Variations, Op 46, in its original and unusual instrumentation. The performers are Martha Argerich and Alexandre Rabinovitch (pianos), Nathalie Gutman and Mischa Maisky (cellos) and Marie-Luise Neunecker (horn). And Yevgeni Kissin plays the Symphonic Studies, including the five variations that were excluded from the version Schumann published. Repeated next Wednesday 11.30pm
