Composer of the Week:Nicolas Medtner

(1880- 1951). Donald Macleod introduces some of the songs recorded by composer Nicolas Medtner in his twilight years, and then turns the clock back to his formative years and two early sonatas, one for piano and the other for violin, which proved to be one of his most popular chamber works.
