The Last Checkout On the eve of the historic meeting of the spacecraft of two nations that were once considered implacable rivals in space, the crews go through the routines that will bring them to a rendezvous. In Apollo, checkout of the unproven Docking Module that will form an airlock between the two spacecraft when they are linked, and a tunnel which the astronauts will pass through on their way to tomorrow's big handshake.
