Pebble Mill

on BBC One London

The live and liveliest magazine programme on television celebrates its 1,000th birthday in style - from the 'special ceremonial' opening fanfare to a spectacular and sparkling finale. Special guests in the foyer of the BBC's Broadcasting Centre in Birmingham - all with their own particular and personal reasons for celebrating this special television event - will include Frankie Vaughan, Pam Ayres and the Band of the Royal Marines. Grace and Flavour expert Michael Smith will propose a spectacular champagne toast and Peter Seabrook will be reporting another noteworthy event from the grounds of Buckingham Palace. As always the Pebble Mill hosts will be Donny MacLeod, David Seymour, Marian Foster and Jan Leeming.
