Golf: The Piccadilly World Match Play Championship 1970: Semi-Finals

on BBC One London

In the first semi-final of World Match Play Championship, Gene Littler of the United States completed the first 18 holes of the match in 65 strokes, a score that included no less than seven consecutive threes - it is the measure of the calibre of this unique event in world golf that such scoring is regarded as necessary if contestants are to have a chance of winning.
