Christmas Choral Classics
Each evening this week, Aled Jones presents a series of Christmas choral works, starting with Handel's Messiah. "Words are wanting to express the exquisite Delight it afforded to the admiring audience," raved the Dublin Journal after the work's premiere in 1742, and since that famous night in Fishamble Street the Messiah has enjoyed a special place in British and Irish hearts.
