Entertainment: Secret Map of Hollywood 11.00pm BBC1
This is supposed to be a look at the seedy side of Hollywood, though in reality it's a grab bag of random titbits of gossip. Jonathan Ross is our host as he leads us on a promenade down the grottier parts of Hollywood Boulevard.
Along the way he looks at the history of Confidential magazine, a scandal sheet that thrived in the days long before celebrities had the power to control their own images. He stops at the Trashy Lingerie shop to look at the, er, trashy lingerie, before going to a silent movie theatre that was the backdrop to a particularly nasty, botched killing.
The programme is, frankly, all over the place, though there's a guilty pleasure in watching. (Alison Graham)
