The Dales

on Light Programme

(Repeated Wednesday 11.15 a.m.)

Things have gone from bad to worse at Hillside Hall. Mrs. Magus has gone down with gastric flu and feels convinced that she has poisoned herself and the residents with her Christmas cooking. Mrs. Dale has tried to help Mrs. Freeman, who has indignantly rejected Bill Elliot's idea that Sheila should lend her cook. Jenny and the twins have left for their ski-ing holiday with Carl and Janet.

(Robin Wentworth is appearing in ' Pickwick ' at the Saville Theatre, London; Timothy West is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company)
