Another opportunity to hear the opening concert of the BBC's 1992 Berg festival. The soprano Arleen Auger. who died earlier this year, sings Reinbert de Leeuw's chamber version of the Seven Early Songs with the Nash Ensemble conducted by Andrew Davis. Baritone Alan Opie and pianist Ian Brown perform some of Berg's songs, and members of the Nash
Ensemble play the Four Pieces, Op 5 for clarinet and piano and the Adagio from the Chamber
Concerto.
