Franz Reizenstein , a young German composer, first studied at the Berlin State High School of Music under Paul Hindemith , who said of him as a pianist that he was one of the finest interpreters of modern music. He is now at the Royal College of Music studying composition under Dr. Vaughan Williams. Mr. Reizenstein is already known to listeners as a composer by his Quintet for wind, which was performed last year by the Modern Wind Quintet.
