Crimewatch UK

on BBC One London

The series in which police forces around the country appeal for viewers to help them solve serious crimes.
Tonight: an attack by an armed gang on a couple in Cowdenbeath,
Fife, one night last December. Among the clues that the police hope will jog someone's memory are the northern
English accents of the robbers and the white transit van and red Ford Escort they used. Crimewatch UK also reconstructs the murder of Doris Shelley two months ago. She lived alone in a 17th-century mill house in Suffolk and a man had been seen on two occasions hiding in her garden.
Presented by Nick Ross and Sue Cook. Phone on [number removed]from 9.30pm until midnight. Studio director Pieter Morpurgo Series producer Liz Mills
