Witness

on BBC One London

A romantic thriller starring
Harrison Ford
Kelly McGillis
John Book , a hardened
Philadelphia cop, is assigned to protect Rachel Lapp , a member of the reclusive Amish community, when her son
Samuel witnesses a savage murder on a rare trip to the big city. Forced to run for their lives, the trio flees to the Lapps' home - a rural idyll unchanged by modern technology and governed by devout pacifist beliefs. But the violence of the outside world is never far behind.
Set against a background of clashing cultures this acclaimed film features one of Harrison
Ford's finest performances. It also marks the acting debut of Alexander Godunov , former Bolshoi Ballet star.
