Rudolf Bultmann set himself the task of presenting the Christian message to the people of this generation in terms they would understand. This led him to what has been called in English 'demythologising.' In this programme Hans-Werner Bartsch, editor of the collection of essays Kerygma und Mythos, shows how this process works out in practice. The sermon is based upon the principles of demythologising.
